[OS X TeX] Can some one help me compile this: "Check LaTeX Begin-End Pairs"?

Aloha,

I found a utility called "Check LaTeX Begin-End Pairs"
<http://www.cs.stir.ac.uk/~kjt/software/latex/#chktex> and would like to try
it out but i have not been able to compile it.

Can one of you figure out how?

(I tried the match_parens.pl script in CTAN but it did not help me track the
problem I have).
