A line like

	\newfontfamily\devanagarifont[Script=Latin]{Gentium Basic}

maybe without the Script option, would do the job. Or one with Times  
Roman...


BTW, could you next time when responding remove most of the digest  
contents? It might also help when you edit the subject...
