The distillation should be done with the help of latex command in the source file, or even better, by producing the graphics with the help of packages like mfpic.

That I consider unnecessary under the special circumstances.

Create a folder "Templates" in the Dropbox folder containing all your templates and make sure to use absolute paths to eventually included files like signatures, logos, etc.

The files are saved on the IPad, or, if you wish, you can save them in a separate subfolder of your Dropbox or iDisk.
