Use the wrapfig package:

\documentclass[11pt]{article}
\usepackage{wrapfig}
\usepackage{lipsum} % for dummy text
\usepackage[demo]{graphicx} % demo option for dummy images

\begin{document}

\lipsum[1]
\begin{wrapfigure}{r}{3in}
\includegraphics[width=3in]{test.jpg}
\end{wrapfigure}
\lipsum[2]

\end{document}
