[OS X TeX] How to get a nontransparent PDF background

Hi all,

If I create a PDF in TeXShop, using the pdflatex engine, open it in Preview, drag and drop it into Keynote, it comes in with a transparent background. Is there a setting in TeXShop (or Preview or Keynote) that will give it a white background?
