It does.

In fact, when I click a "content" file open, %!TEX root = ../Text- 
controls/\jobname.tex calls for the pdf and the "contol file" (root).  
As mentioned before, the pdf has the full path. The control file,  
though, remains in the dock. But when I hover over its icon, I see the  
full path.  Truly amazing.
