[OS X TeX] Word count in TS

I see now what happens. I have an \input'ed file whose contents are counted when no text is selected. I got the hint from Droptexcount, which mentions the included file. I haven't used WordService, I'll take a look.

Those scripts embed the texcount program and produce an html file with varying amounts of detailed information about your document and open that file in your default browser. Simply drop your .tex file onto the script you wish to use.
