Howdy,
This will NOT work with TeX Live 2012 (and later --- when released). You must use `updmap` instead of `updmap-sys` when using fonts in your personal tree (~/Library/texmf).
Please read `TeXLive2012Changes.pdf.zip' from <https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/10932738/index.html>, un-zip it and read, especially, the section about installing fonts with specific information about fonts installed in your personal tree.
