As far as I can tell the change hasn't been pushed to the repositories so using
sudo tlmgr updte --self
in Terminal (and giving your admin password when requested) to do the update to tlmgr (i.e., the critical update) is the easiest thing to do. Once that is done and completed you can go back to TLU to do any other updates that have occurred.
