[OS X TeX] TeX Live Utility - fails to update infrastructure - cannot find TeX Live root

If you need to update, you can install the new version from the TL critical repository, as described in TLU's Help.

In TLU, choose the "Actions" menu and hold down the Option key. This will give you an option to install TeX Live Manager from the critical repository before it's pushed out to CTAN.

After this, you may see a "Local version is newer" status for texlive.infra. You can safely ignore this.
