[OS X TeX] TeX Live Utility and python

TeX Live Utility (1.19) claims:

2014-11-11 13:31:38 +0000 Notice -[TLMDatabase texliveYear][7125]	Parsing the database from this repository failed with the following error: env: python: Bad CPU type in executable
[…]
2014-11-11 13:33:04 +0000 Notice -[TLMDatabase texliveYear][7482]	Unable to determine year from 00texlive.config

I’m using 

2014-11-11 13:33:03 +0000 Notice +[TLMEnvironment _checkSystemPythonMajorVersion:minorVersion:][7482]	Python version is 2.7.6 (default, Sep  9 2014, 15:04:36) 
[GCC 4.2.1 Compatible Apple LLVM 6.0 (clang-600.0.39)]

And then it tries to find another repository without success.  I can run it from the command line, though.
