[OS X TeX] autocompletion in TexShop

I am on version 3.51 of TexShop on Yosemite. I have "{" defined as "(#SEL##INS#)" in autocompletion.plist, but when I type { the autocompletion doesn't work -- nothing happens. Any ideas? Is anyone else experiencing this?
