I haven’t seen Herb’s yet - I’m not at home now, where the TeX mail is incarcerated. Somehow, yours made it to my current location. But in any case:
There’s still the matter of disconnect between the state of the source and the state of the output (dvi/pdf/…). I take it that’s a matter of caveat typesettor?
