[OS X TeX] biber runs although I specify backend=bibtex for blbilatx

Since Herb is the pdflatexmk expert, I've left this task to him. Thanks, Herb!

Just for the record, with your example below I see no pause, whether I typeset with just pdflatex or
with pdflatexmk.
