[OS X TeX] Latex file locks

Hi Richard, all,

I am not sure if what I observed in 4.51 is related (never stayed with 4.50; 4.44 is still my “go back” version)
to the symptoms others mentioned.

It is not that I cannot save the file. It saves alright and compiles. But you can’t see what you are doing.

Let me elaborate.

This phenomenon I always observed after the use of the “new Find” in its Find-all mode (Apple-shift-F). Once used, the cursor stays stuck.

Any input after this you cannot see. But it is saved, and the file compiles.

This seems to be slightly different — to the best of my understanding of what others described?

Cheers
George
