[OS X TeX] abbreviations in Bibtex

Well, I’m using here a rather old Macbook with TeXShop Version 4.44. I simply type  "Acta Mathematica” 
with the double quotation mark (above the number 2 on my German keyboard), and it comes out correctly. See the minimal example:


(Just as a side remark: There is a typo in title= … residues des ….)

Hope you find out the right key. By the way, I think that the editors should not be too smart and anticipate what one wants to type. Good luck,
