[OS X TeX] TeXShop 5.57 Find/Search suddenly not available

Hi,
Using TeXShop 5.57 on my MacMini 4 with latest Tahoe 26.5.2,
for some reason the pdf window top right search panel no longer appears, as
before.
Tried all 3 Find Panel settings: Apple Find Panel, Apple Find Bar and
OgreKit Find panel.
None work after restart.

Advice would be much appreciated.

ps: I mention again how much I appreciate the wonderful horizontal split
screen function I learnt of by chance,
Its fantastic for editing a 200 page book (on a wide monitor).
