[Mac OS X TeX] TexShop crashing OS X

I too have had difficulties with .pdfs crashing Mac OS X---the one
culprit thus far has been a web page saved out from Preview.app

Suspect the Apple PDF object, while apparently feature complete has a
few extra things which need to be removed :(

Missing Display PostScript....
