	Richard,

First off, great work on TeXShop all around.

Might I suggest that even the most minor of changes should be
accompanied by a change in the name/info of the installer and application?
I think it is a good idea to make it possible for someone to easily see if
they have a different version than that which is available online, even if
the changes might be very minor.

I do not have any problem with having obscure number/letters as
part of an installer's name and available in the "get info" version
information of the application, and doing this is much more robust than
referring to the file's creation date on those occasions when it might be
useful to compare files.

Telling people "I think that was fixed in the 01/16 build, when did
you download your version?" is less useful than saying "I think that was
fixed in version 1.05-01-16a - check the (About TeXShop) menu item to see
if you need to update", in my opinion.
