[Mac OS X TeX] Context pictures

Someone--

Where do graphics files go so that Context can find them? In the users 
library folder, inside texmf, should there be a context folder as a 
companion to the latex one? And then a misc folder inside that where 
.pdf and .jpg files can go? And are both of these two graphics file 
types supported in Context?
