I am running this (from a recent nightly build): Version 1.2.7 (v449)

When I (prompted by this message) checked for updates, I was told I'm  
up to date.  I have downloaded the 1.2.8, which sez Version 1.2.8  
(v454) (as I'm sure you know :-}).

Don't know that this is an issue, but it seems odd.
