[OS X TeX] [related topic] remote control of LaTeX created pdfs on Apple laptops

There is also the Remote Buddy that I use ( http://tinyurl.com/2dxc2g). It
has a feature to highlight text on the computer display, but I have not yet
checked whether that highlighting gets reflected on the screen once it is
projected through a data projector.
